Professional Musicians and Ensembles Projects Abroad

We support high-calibre music projects abroad by awarding travel grants. We fund German-based professional musicians and ensembles planning music projects abroad.

For the sake of sustainability, we do not fund short trips. Your music project should include at least three events (concerts, workshops, panels, etc).

This funding is not for newcomer performing artists, music education projects, trips for commercial or tourist purposes, organized social gatherings, benefit events (i.e. fundraisers), school or university projects, development aid projects or travel to conventions, symposiums or competitions.
