Anna Plowden Trust – Clothworkers’ Foundation CPD Grants

Open
Last updated: 24/07/2025

The Trust was established in 1998 in memory of Anna Plowden who was a pioneering conservator in the private sector. Through our activities we support the development of skills in conservation and also help to raise awareness of conservation. Since being established, we have distributed over £700,000 in grants. The Trust aims to improve skills and to raise awareness of heritage conservation.

Thanks to generous support from the Clothworkers’ Foundation, we can now offer greatly increased support for CPD opportunities for practising conservators in the UK through our Plowden/Clothworkers’ Foundation CPD Grants. Grants are given towards the cost of attending short courses and conferences in the UK and abroad. Students and interns are not eligible to apply for CPD grants. Follow this link to find out more.
