The Fund has Three Key Strands:

  1. Support for Individual Young People (Aged 11–25):
    Funding is available for projects that help develop life skills and character through unique experiences. Applicants must commit to volunteering in their community during or after the project. Support may include gap year activities, sports or music excellence, and extra-curricular education.
  2. Community & Voluntary Groups – Young People:
    Funding is available for youth projects aimed at 11–25-year-olds.
  3. Community & Voluntary Groups – Older People:
    Funding is available for projects supporting isolated older individuals, including those affected by mobility issues, living alone, dementia, stroke, or illness.
